Edwards delivers FORWARD-THINKING CREATIVITY as the Advisor to Advisors of elite wealth management teams through improved strategy, leadership and productivity. He focuses on growing, improving and transitioning their businesses, resulting in increased assets and revenue, improved clientele quality, optimized business practices and a premium franchise value.

Edwards founded Atlantic Leadership Group in 1989 and serves clients nationally from his base in the Baltimore-Washington region. He works closely with his partner, Melba Holliday, and collaborates with peer consultants nationally.

Edwards is an established business coach with 35+ years of experience. He works in-person and remotely with clients and is currently engaged with more than 25 Private Wealth Management teams and Financial Advisor Practices at major wirehouse and regional firms (UBS, Morgan Stanley, RBC, Merrill Lynch, etc.). In 1996 Edwards started working exclusively with Financial Advisors and their managers and has consulted with over 3500 advisors. He began his career as a franchise partner with Leadership Management, Inc., a world innovator in programs for developing leaders and organizations to their full potential. Edwards is a lifetime learner and researches validated best practices. ALG has strategic partnerships for advanced content, assessment and training technology partnerships with six international providers. He synthesizes concepts and strategies and transforms proven ideas into innovative solutions for clients.

Edwards and Melba serve as volunteers and contracted career coaches for Special Operators Transition Foundation (SOTF.org), 501(c)(3), and have worked with more than 800 Special Operations Forces Veterans in their transitions from the battlefield to the boardroom. They have two daughters, Sarah and Elizabeth and all enjoy riding motorcycles and horses.
